Organizing Seminar:
One of the important preamble of the Foundation is to organize Seminar on a regular basis to disseminate geographical knowledge and also to encourage young geographers and other researchers to present their findings on a platform. Geographers and researchers have supported the Foundation in organizing the Seminars. Anthropological Survey of india has given financial assistance and also infrastructural support. Since inception it has organized 8 National Seminars on different contemporary problems. 4 Seminars; Foundation has organized in association with different universities like Ranchi University(2001), Viva Bharati - 2 times 2010 - 20l4 & Alia University, 2019. A brief write up is given below.
1. Seminar on Status of Environment in West Bengal.19,20 & 21 December, 1997 Calcutta.

2. Two Day Seminar on Environmental Status of Medinipur, 26 & 27 March 1999 in collaboration with Department of Geography & Environment Management, Vidyasagar University, Medinipur.

3. Two Day Dr. Enayat Ahmed memorial Seminar in Geography 21-22, April, 2001 in collaboration with Department of Geography Ranchi University, Jharkhand.

4. Two Day National Seminar on : Contemporary, Issues in Geography 27 & 28 February 2009 in Collaboration with Anthropological Survey of India (Govt. of India). Kolkata & National Atlas & Thematic Mapping Organization (Govt. of India), Kolkata.

5. Two Day National Seminar on Emerging Issues in Geography 20 & 21 March,2010 in Collaboration with Department Of Geography, Visva Bharati.

6. Three Day National Seminar on Geography: Space, Time and Pople, 11, 12, & 13th February 2011 in Collaboration with Anthropological Survey of India (Govt. of India) Kolkata.

7. Three Day National Seminar on Geography of Today: Problems & Prospects. 23, 24 & 25th March 2012 in collaboration with Anthropological Survey of India. (Govt. of India) Kolkata.

8. Two Day National Seminar on Recent Trends in Geographical Research, 30 & 31 March 2013 in Collaboration with National Atlas & Thematic Mapping Organization (Govt. of India) Kolkata & Anthropological Survey of India (Govt. of India) Kolkata.
